Is that the Best You Can Do? How to Edit Your Own Work with Lia Mills

You're nearly there. You've worked out your story, your characters are all grown up and ready to leave home. Look again, before you let them out the door. Is your dialogue clunky, are your images tired? Is that a cliché in the corner? Not for the faint-hearted, this workshop will show you how to read your manuscript with a more clinical eye – for its own good. Lia Mills will discuss technical faults and how to correct them. Participants must bring work of their own (fiction / memoir) for fair discussion.

Lia Mills’ third novel Fallen will be published in June 2014 by Penguin Ireland.

Saturday 4th Oct; 10.30am–4.30pm
Duration: 1 Day

Cost: €80/70 Members
