Interview with Mike McCormack: In the first instalment of the Irish Writers' Centre’s podcast series we catch up with acclaimed novelist and short story writer Mike McCormack to discuss his newest collection, Forensic Songs, a work which combines literary influences as diverse as John McGahern and Philip K Dick. We also take the opportunity to get an insight into his writing process and talk about how he generates ideas, finishing the first draft, as well as the tricky editing process.
