The Irish Writers’ Centre is delighted to announce a series of prose readings that will commence in the Centre and be taken afterwards to the four corners of Ireland. The purpose of the series is to develop an audience for prose readings and to cultivate and encourage reading among the public. It is the hope of the Irish Writers’ Centre that, by providing a regular platform for writers, they can maintain a continuous rapport with their readers and increase their readership from book to book. The Irish Writers’ Centre also holds that it is essential to do everything possible within our society to nurture reading, and promoting an interest in individual writers and individual books contributes to this broader aim.
